What's so special about the Logitech Z520 speakers? Well let's run down some of the features of this 2 channel set. They have 360 degree sound. What this means is anywhere you go in the room, even behind them the sound will be crisp and clear. According to Logitech it has "Natural Acoustics". It realistically reproduces sound thanks to it's amplified 2-way design. They are also loud and have 26 watts (RMS) power. So you can crank them up at parties and hear all the subtlety's without distortion. There is an auxiliary port so you can plug in your favorite MP3 player without having to unplug your speakers from the computer, plus a spot to plug-in headphones. |

Even though they don't have a dedicated subwoofer the bass still sounds really good. They still produce enough low end to add weight to music or if your watching a movie and especially in games. At low volume these speakers really shine because you can hear every little nuance in what you're listening to. For the size of these speakers I was impressed by how much sound they can deliver. They easily produce enough sound for a midsized room. Even at high volume levels the sound did not become distorted which is a rare treat. I should also mention these speakers are quite sleek and look really good sitting on my desk. They are also shaped rather oddly but in a good way. Considering there price, I would have thought they may have included a remote in the package. But personally I don't think I would really use a remote with these speakers. I have them on my desk and everything is within arms reach. Also since the speakers include a spot to plug in your headphones or an MP3 player everything is right where you need it. Highly Recommended. |
