Previously I have reviewed two different Ipod Nano cases. One was an acrylic case and one was a silicone case. Today I will be reviewing the Belkin Remix Metal case. The first thing I would like to point out is, even though it says metal, the whole case is not made out of metal. The case is made of acrylic with a grooved metal plate attached to the front of the case. This case provides almost total protection for your Nano, and it does this without adding a lot of bulk to the original size. This has got to be one of the most functional well designed cases I have reviewed so far. It provides protection for your screen. When the case arrived in the packaging, I could have sworn it was not in there, as it was so light. Also the case incorporates protection for the click wheel as well. Normally click wheel protection comes in the form of some type of sticker. The entire face of the case covers the screen and the click wheel.



I was interested to see if this interfered with the operation of the click wheel. I am happy to report it does not. The only thing I noticed is it’s a little harder to hit the select button. The click wheel works exactly as it should and this is a great way to protect it. You have full access to the hold button and earphone port. Plus you should have no problem with any docking station. My favourite thing about this case is its size: it really is thin. One of the problems I have had with other cases is that since they are thicker it takes away from how small the original Nano is. Overall this case is a winner and comes highly recommended. Out of the cases I have reviewed so far, this is the closest to perfection and will be staying on my Nano until someone comes out with something better. If you’re looking for a case with almost total protection and something that does not add a lot of bulk, look no further than the Belkin Remix Metal case. Highly Recommended
