Coolit Systems USB Beverage Chiller

Cooling your PC inside is an important part of keeping your PC running well.  It’s even more important if you’re into overclocking your PC.  CoolIt systems is a company that makes cooling products for people who are trying to get the most performance out of there PC by overclocking the cpu or with a high end video card.  Today I am going to look at something a little different.  The product I am talking about is the CoolIt systems USB Beverage Cooler called the Chiller.  I brought this into work and got many comments on it.  It just plugs into your USB port and chills a blue metal plate on the device.  Now it will not make something that is warm cold.  But it does a good job keeping a cold beverage cold.  CoolIt claims that the plate will chill to 45 degrees Fahrenheit.  I actually tested it and after 10 minutes it was at the 45 degree mark. The advantage of it being USB is that it will also work with game consoles like the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3.  My only complaint is I thought the fan was a tad bit noisy, but if you’re pulling an all night game fest and need your pop cold this will keep it chilled.  For about $25 dollars it does a good job of keeping your drink cold and it makes for a good conversation piece at work or a great gift for the person who has everything.
