All-Ett Wallets

A lot of the reviews I do are based out of necessity.  If I am having a problem with some product, chances are one of my listeners/readers are having the same issue.  My wallet has been slowly falling apart and my big complaint is how big it is.  I always wear my wallet in the back right pocket.  The other day I said to myself there has got to be a better way out there.  So I went to the Internet to search for wallet innovations.  I found lots of different options, but the one that caught my eye was a company called All-Ett.  They claimed to have the world’s thinnest wallet.  Now my question was: if it’s thin, would I still be able to put all the items in my current wallet, in this one.  So I contacted the company and I had them send out the original and their new leather version which is called the Executive. 

First let me tell you a little bit about the wallets.   They use a patented side-by-side design that creates four pockets for cards.  Then they use a material called Spinmaker cloth, which makes the wallet as thin as a dime. Spinnaker cloth is a very strong, yet extremely thin and lightweight Nylon material that is used in making sailboat sails. It doesn't fray or crack, is water resistant and washable.  The end result is a slim and comfortable wallet.

When the package arrived in the mail, I was a little worried that somehow they had forgotten to send me anything.  The package was that thin.  But sure enough both the original and the executive were inside.  So the first step was to take everything out of my old wallet and transfer it to the new wallet.  I thought I would try out the original first.  It is made entirely out of Spinmaker cloth.  Once I had put everything into the new wallet I was really amazed at the thinness.  It was so much smaller than my previous wallet.  I used the original wallet for about 3 days.  My initial impressions were that it was very comfortable to sit on.  I could almost swear I had nothing in my back pocket which is a good thing.  The original has four card slots and two cash slots.  One is extra deep.  So there is plenty of room for all your cards and money. I organized the four card slots so that my most used cards were on the top and bottom of each of the 4 card holders.  This did not take very long to get used to.  My only complaint was that the Spinmaker cloth makes it sound like I had a wallet made out of paper.  It makes a crinkling sound!  In my opinion this would be a small price to pay for all this comfort.  I have read on the Internet this apparently goes away with use.    

The executive is essentially the same, except the outside is a leather shell.  It’s a little bit thicker but not enough to notice when you have it in your pocket.  It provides the same great comfort as the original, but does it with more style.  The leather is on the outside of the wallet, and Spinmaker cloth is used on the inside.  The biggest advantage that the Executive has over the original is that the crinkling noise is all but eliminated.  This makes it my wallet of choice and the one I will be using.

Overall All-Ett is a winner.  They make a wallet that is comfortable and thin!  Plus the prices are very reasonable.  If you find that your wallet is causing you discomfort, you owe it to yourself to check out All-Ett’s wallets!  Go to http://www.all-ett.com/
